What lighting do you use?

What lighting is everyone using? Right now Im using 2-250de 14k phnx on my 58gal. I really like the way the 14k looks. Its a crisp white with a hint of blue.

we are the only two to have voted and we have the same lighting! 250w DE 14k Phx.

Side note:
-I've had my lighting setup on my signature because I figure that knowing a users spectrum helps a lot when looking at their pics.

I have an orbit 2x40w fixture. I dont need a halide on a 10g tank so yea. I do have MH's though. They were for my 75g. And i do have T5 for my old 30g breeder. So i guess i like all the lighting in some ways.....

I am using a 250 watt MH 14k Hamilton supplimented with 220 watts VHO-1x110 White actinic, 1x110 super actinic.

I recently made the switch from PCs to MH and the difference is astonishing. Everything has grown more in the last couple weeks than it did in the last few months. I am now using a 250 SE 12k Coralvue bulb.

Im running a 70W Astralux 14K MH with 64W of PC actinic on my MB7, and a 175W XM15K on my prop tank. I have a 50G in wall in process that will be using 2x175 XM15K and VHO actinic supp. I will probably switch my prop tank back to an Ushio 10K when the in wall is done.

I dont know how to vote cause im using MH with PC and i like it so far but wish to have a better combo like MH with T5 ... they are getting popular and also they say T5 works better with MH than actinics in PC... so i dont know... if i could upgrade to T5 (or vho) & MH ill do it without thinking twice...

i used to run a 130w PC over my 20g last year, it was crap

then upgraded to a 175w XM15k SE on magnetic ballast. then upgraded to 2x175w XM15k SE's over the 20g tank.

now we have a 15g, with a 175w XM20k SE on magnetic ballast. and a 30g with 250w Radium SE on HQI ballast.

and the plan after i move, is to do a 30g cube with mostly sps, and the 250w Radium SE on HQI ballast and lumenarc mini reflector. and a 29g tank w/ the 175w XM20k or XM15k SE on magnetic ballast. and will probably go with some T5 blue plus actinics.

I tried the VHO URI super actinics a while ago, and didnt like them. Made everything look pale w/ no contrast. Also tried that new Iwasaki 14k Aqua 2 bulb (175w SE). Absolutely terrible bulb for softies.

96w quad PC on office nano

250w SE MH (10K BlueLine bulb) on 32g breeder at home; time to replace the bulb.. will be using 20K XM's...

I upgraded a few months ago from a 96w powerquad to a Hamilton 14k de pendant. It was interesting to watch the change in most of my corals after switching.

Been thinking of a bulb change, those of you running the 14k DE Pheonix have any full tank shots? I was wanting to go a little more on the blue side since I don't have any actinic supplementation.
