my ammonia and nitrites are super low but nitrates are high have i done something wrong?
No, your ammonia and nitrites should be zero. I would recommend getting a higher quality, more accurate, more specific nitrate test. Personally, I’d recommend the Hanna HR nitrate checker, I’ll never go back to color matching tests.

that’s great! i’ll keep cycling for another few days and see if i’m doing good, i’ve stopped adding ammonia to reduce high spikes in nitrates or anything really and im going to do a 20% water change tomorrow, i can show you my tank to see if it looks all good

Yes sounds good. Definitely don't add anymore ammonia. You should be fully cycled with Nitrates below 10ppm in the next week or so.
