Anyone use brightwells yet. I have tried tons of salt and am back to RC right now but sure I will change again to offset costs.

Same Here:D
I am using Reef Crystals for a few reasons. It was rated as one of the best salts last year, Shedd Aquarium (Chicago's Public Aquarium) uses it, I can get is from Drs. Foster Smith really cheap. And if I run out in an Emergency every LFS carries it. Also it has been around for years. And my corals seem to be doing great. Most of the people in my Reef Club use it also.

I use D+D's H2Ocean Mag pro+ salt and like it. it is expensive though but it mixs up to where it should with no need to adjust the mix.

i've been using brightwells for a couple weeks now. i'm hoping the increased potassium and mag levels will help keep me from having to dose so much.

I usually run RC, but my most recent bucket is Seachem Reef. It seems to be working well.

I know you are just trying to be helpful and we certainly don't discourage people from using other forums, I would prefer if you link to a thread in RS particularly for basic questions. There are some things where they clearly excel as well as some tank threads that are spectacular so I am not by any means saying don't post RC links. Just kind of keep in mind that this is RS and we need the info here as much as they do there.
Does that make sense?
You offer great advice so I am not trying to discourage you in any way shape or form, I have just noticed the trend.
Peace
Lynn

I use NSW from the beach and all the tests have been spot-on except the specific gravity; I just add some RO/DI and I am good. Its free and I have not had problems.

I have tried many salts throughout the years but the one I have had the best luck with is Red Sea Coral Pro.

I have just switched to BW's salt . My preference is REd Sea Coral Pro . I cannot get it locally atm . The BW Neo is okay so far .

D&D H2Ocean for over a year and it has been the most consistent salt mix i ever used
