Thanks. It has always concerned me.Mainly I believe it’s the moisturizer and perfumes in the decorative type soaps that have Ill effects. I’ve had to stick my hands in the tank after using a commercial soap. Nothing happens due to a aggressive clean water hand rinse. I read the ingredients of that soap and it’s natural sea salts, so if you use non-perfume coated Epsom salt and scrub your hands with it, it does just the same.
They use it on wildlife to remove oil. They don't rinse it in the ocean people...lolThe only kind I buy, for that reason.
??? I'm sorry you assumed I thought that. I only meant that I support the contribution they make to support wildlife rescue. They use it on wildlife to remove oil. They don't rinse it in the ocean people...lol
I mean, I didn't 'presume' anything. I was laughing because the PR campaign doesn't include washing your fish or tank with it.??? I'm sorry you presumed I thought that. I only meant that I support the contribution they make to support wildlife rescue.
That's great. I'm glad to see some more eco friendly products too.I mean, I didn't 'presume' anything. I was laughing because the PR campaign doesn't include washing your fish or tank with it.
I'm not stating it's bad to use, because it's not..I have Dawn on the top of my sink like many other American consumers. Just that it's not biodegradable.
With Hawaii's recent ban on certain chemicals found in sunscreen, I took another look at the ones I had around the house. That's all there was to it.
