Well, I gotta admit. It's good for planning. I've missed the last 2 HS reunions as I don't use FB. Even missed my 40th. Oh well. At my age, they are starting to combine reunions with other years. It's a good idea. I was friends with a TON of underclassmen. Perhaps I'll attend the next.

I'll be honest, I'm impressed, though not surprised with the results so far. Facebook seems to be popular for events/family/a few other things. Instagram for scrolling, and the most impressive is "None" has the same votes (+/- 1) as the 2 heavy hitters.
I thought there would be much more overlap with this site and social media for reefing groups. Very interesting info! Keep voting y'all! This conversation is good too!

What is the demographic now for Facebook? I was considered the old guy, when I was 39 around 2008, I have a few younger friends on it mid 20's to 30's, but assume that the younger crowd went elsewhere.

LOL, I don't actually consider R2R a Social Media site. It doesn't tick the box of YOU SUCK BECAUSE YOU DONT BELIEVE IN WHAT I BELIEVEEEEEEEEEEE.......

I gotta admit tho. FB was a great thing at the VERY beginning. I was able to find friends long gone. Even found a best friend from elementary and Jr. High. It was really good to reconnect with that Dude. Last time I had seen him was in passing while in HS at a video arcade. I was playing PAC MAN (which I was a master at - I could get to the 242nd key in 4.5 hours. On one quarter). 3,145,690 high score. Perfect score 3,333,360. Never did get a perfect score. But Stan had other goals, he was there for the chicks (which were scarce lol).

I used to use them all, but the algorithms just kept getting more and more toxic. It got to be too much. Political armchair warriors/activists and all of the constant misinformation got to be too much. So, now i use none of them and I'm much happier for it.

I barely use Instagram (maybe 5 minutes a day); otherwise, I don't use it. There's too much of a toxic culture associated with social media, plus I prefer not to get sucked into wasting my time on those sites.

Instagram is mostly for scrolling through fun videos or sharing a few photos now and then. I’ve been thinking about getting more into it for my business, though. So, I think I should try out some social media services to help me do that without having to be online all the time.
