What tank company is best ?

No like is Red Sea better than waterbox, and does the Reefer 3XL 900 System have a glass overflow ?
And I heard that with Red Sea you can't really get a better sump or different pluming ? Idk about the newer tanks tho.

The overflow on my 750 XXL is glass, so i imagine the 900 3XL is the same.

Not waterbox. A lot of people praise them, but personally I found their customer support to be absolutely lacking for the price point. My tank was delayed an additional 3 weeks, and I received no communication from them. I had to call 3-4 times before I finally spoke to someone who gave an update.

For the amount of money I'm spending, you would think they would have an automated system or someone in charge of monitoring delayed orders.

It boggles my mind that so many WB loyalists just lump the additional delays as part of the purchasing experience.

Lots of little new features as well, ie: glass rim around the tank, new gate valve, upgraded sock filter trays, etc.

I owned a RS 750XXl and now a RS650P i fell the stands are lacking. but there CS has been pretty good so far they sent me a center brace and and a new set of hinges.

I believe WB stands are real plywood? i also had good experience with WB CS too.

that said reading what you want to do with custom stuff I would go with @joe@glasscages.
get the tank you want. get a sump and build your own stand. will it be more work yes might it cost more probably but you get what you want.

also there are 2 ways to convert the RS plumbing to US standard. the sumps I find are pretty nice too. all depends on what you want for a sump.

and lastly check out fiji cube tanks and sumps might be what you are looking for?
