What Temp is Your Home?

Just curious where everyone keeps their home temperature. I keep mine at 76°F year round, as it helps keep all my tank temps stable and saves on heater usage. What are your home temps in the summer and winter?

Cool crisp 65-67. Yeah, my wife and I keep it freezing inside our house, but mostly because our upstairs stays hot in the summer, but the downstairs is pretty cold haha

71-73 during summer.
69 all winter.

74 year round… I’d have to buy a new ac unit every year if I tried 68 or something in this blistering Vegas heat lol.. the unit can barely keep up as it is when it hits 110-118 outside.
As you can see, set at 74 my unit runs 14-18 hours a day.

This time if year, we're at 74-76 during the day and 70 at night. During the winter, I do 70 in the day and 68 at night. I like it cold, but in California summer, I gotta bite the bullet or I'll go broke. Ha!

There is no chance I’d be comfortable with the house in the mid 70’s.

I keep it right around 70. Plus or minus a couple degrees in the summer and winter. If my apartment heats up past the mid 70s I start getting temp warnings on my heat controller.

72 all the time. We in michigan and my wife and daughter have severe allergies so windows stay closed year round. Tried opening windows earlier this spring to see if ph of my tank woukd go up and had zero effect. Tank just stay at 8.1 no matter what i do.

Yes, especially when it is humid it can be very uncomfortable.

If I turned the heat on, maybe one degree higher than what we have it at? My wife would 100% notice the difference and tell me to turn it down haha

Is it a cost cutting measure or just the equipment can't keep up?

We have a separate unit for our bedroom and Tonya keeps it at 65 every night! It's the North Pole in the mornings! Some people like to splurge on various things, we splurge on Arctic air.

Summer 74 - 76. I would like it cooler but do not like giving the electric company money. I am thinking about installing a geothermal system so I could lower the temp and not pay more.

Winter 60 - 68

Normally, 75 but I'm out of town for a few days. I live in California and it's been a little toasty out so I set it for 78 so it doesn't get too warm but I'm also not cooling a house more than I have to.
