What Temp is Your Home?

A wood burner is our main source of heat. I like to keep it 68 - 70 in the winter. Central air crappped out so we use window units now and I try to keep it around 74 max and prefer about 72 lower being better but the electric bill is already too high. Windows are open as much as possible. I like to sleep next to a cracked window to feel the cool breeze in the winter.

We have a separate unit for our bedroom and Tonya keeps it at 65 every night! It's the North Pole in the mornings! Some people like to splurge on various things, we splurge on Arctic air.

Sound like my kind oh Gal. It can be 95 degrees and my Gal will say "aren't you going to sit outside with me?" I'm like ah no I have tank maintenance to do. She deals with the cool bedroom with extra blankets as we have a dedicated unit in there also.

Downstairs for us feels like 65, but go upstairs in our bedroom with a fan going? Feels like 80+

In South FL, I can't wait for a cool winter day to open my windows (maybe a few times a year). While I'm home, 73/74; when I'm not home, 78/77.

Heater has to run at my house in the middle of the night! Ha! 70 during the day mid to upper 60’s at night!

It used to be 78, but I compromised with my wife. Humidity is high in summer though, around 60-75%, so I also run dehumidifiers. Lake Erie is across the street , so that adds a lot of water to the air here.

Michigan weather is not exactly constant....lol....we try to keep the house at 70 during the winter and 72 during the summer. Our house, however, is a tri level so it's impossible to keep all three levels the same, much cooler below grade and warmer upstairs. If my wife had her way it would be snowing in our house, she likes it cold!!!
Works out pretty well for the tank, heater doesn't have to work too hard in the winter and pretty much never comes on in the summer, tank runs at 78-79.5ish.

winter i turn it up to 68 at like 7am and back to 65 around 9:30 when i leave, back to 68 when i get home and back down to 65 when i go to bed.

My fresh tanks are without heaters or are set to 76, marine tanks at 78.

i respect that!

i went solar and drive about 2,200 miles per year between my 4 cylinder sedan and 4 stroke moped. shopping local and lessening the portion of meat on your plate also helps.

69 in winter, and up to low 80's in summer

I do the same. 69 in winter, 80 in summer.
I do not like to go from freezing in the house to cooking outside and having to wear a sweater in shops and restaurants.
By keeping it at 80 the difference between in and out is not too much. Plus it help my wallet.
Tanks are at 75 in winter, room temperature in summer.

we keep it at 77° year round. We live in south FL. but that is comfortable for us. Tanks stay stable at 77° too.
