I have a 120 gallon, running zeovit, and c02 scrubber. Labs as follows

Par: 145 half way (12") in tank
Ca:476
Alk- 8.01
Mag 1320
nitrate 5
phosphate 0.2
Temp 78
pH avg 8.19

For some reason my corals just keep dying, The flow appears to be ok, the lighting could be higher. Ot seems all my Acans, pocilapora, frogspawn, hammer, are all exhibiting eith STN or bleaching.

I will post more pictures later but they are stuck on my phone and I can't get to them right now.

tank has been up and running for 3 years, RO/DI 0 TDS read.

A little back story, I have been daling with high p04 and mag but now those have been in normal range for about 2-3 weeks now.

All Labs were checked last night. I did add some zeovit coral snow Plus the other day. I have been dosing that every week for the last month.

phosphate seems a bit high at 0.2

sure you didn't mean 0.02?

Other than that your perams look good. If you are at 0.02 PO4 and 5ppm NO3 then you may be too clean. LPS like more nutrients than sps. Maybe up your feedings a bit and add some live phytoplankton.

how much do you currently feed and what do you feed?

I ran Zeovit for a year and a half and had similar issues myself. In my experience I noticed that when my zeolite media needed to be replaced my corals would not be happy and after I changed the media the same issue for a week or so. I told myself it was that it the change in chemistry from removing the bacteria and starting fresh every 6-8 weeks. And then you need to re-dose the zeobak for the fresh zeolites. Is it possible the constant ups and downs of stripping nutrients is part of your problem as well.

It is 0.2 for sure. I’m using the Nyos test kit. I am alternating between a pinch of apex or PE dry pellets or 1 to 1/2 cube of mysis everyday. Sometimes I Skool a day or two. I did get my new carbon reactor and the corals seem a bit happier.

add some rowaphos in a bag and run passively. it will bring it (PO4) down slower so as to not shock the system. your nitrates are fine.

i find that if i'm widely out of the 10:1 ratio nitrate to phosphate, then it's harder to bring down PO4 with out GFO.

how old is your system?

I do t think it’s the nutrients.
I would try a low dose organic carbon source though.

The observation of the addition of GAC is a good lead though.
I wonder what it’s puling out.

I have some phosphaterx would that help if I dosed it at tiny increment everyday ?

Granular activated carbon.

I’d use vinegar.

PO4 rx is is lanthanum not carbon.

The carbon is also for the corals. Food.

You just got my new carbons reactor up it is brs rox carbon.

What about the zeostart from zeolite I thought that was a carbon source

Yeah me too I do have a few softies I wonder if it is chemical warfare?

Check out my jerri rig. To make sure I dose every day I am hooking it up to my dos
