What the heck is wrong with my tank?

I checked and made sure it worked with RO water. I only worry is the rubber stopper will get had and make it difficult to suck

What about the zeostart from zeolite I thought that was a carbon source

I believe Zeostart also has some nitrate in it.

Thinking I may have found the problem. I checked my analog thermometer. It can’t figure out how hot it is. I’ve checked I at one point where it was 74 and then another time it was 79 the apexes was reading normal temps around 78. I am ordering a new thermostat for my apex.
