What the **** is all over the inside glass

Ok so today I walk by my tank I noticed what look liked tiny white hairs stuck to the inside glass all over my tank ? Anybody know what this is ? Algae ?

I saw something similar and not as much as yours, but this is after I added pods. Did you do something like that recently?

No the only thing I added was a few lps frags which I had dipped first

It doesn't look like copepods up close I'll try to get a better pic.. They aren't moving, it looks like tiny grey hairs

Then again I have a hard time seeing things that small even with my glasses on

I have something like this in my tank. Tiny 1/8" long white hairs attached to the glass on one end with the other suspended freely. I don't think mine are worms. I need to take a picture 2mrw so others can compare.

I have it too. It never gets much longer than that, just much much thicker.
If I scape mine it is back the next day. The only thing I have found that helps is getting to zero NO3 and PO4 using Cheato that way I know it probably isn’t completely zero even though that may be my measurement

This is what happen to me before dino dominate the tank, keep track of the no3po4
It just like white string very small, but easy to remove, also come back pretty fast

No, it just a string, like hair algea

so they are stationary. So not spiders or such.They aren't pods. too bad that would be Mandarin Heaven. So I don't really know !

Two ideas, either a brown hair algae that appears white or bacteria buildup.

If carbon dosing stop or reduce see if it goes away. If not, see if anything your adding contains a carbon source or amino acids with it, like vibrant.

If hair algae perhaps switch nitrate and phosphate test kits.
And adjust feeding schedule if either are elevated. pick up some additional snails.
Ime trochus snails work well with hair algae.
