What to do about a massive Ich breakout?

Yeah, I thought i got to it in time with the medic but apparently it was too late. Now I am in a predicament. Hopefully it'll all turn out well.

That is almost assuredly ich, not velvet. Sometimes, you can get mixed infections, but when you can see distinct spots like this, it is ich. Either way, coppersafe in a hospital tank is the best course of action. Hyposalinity would be the next best option. I will add though that when a fish has this severe of an ich infection, treatments do not always work in time.
