What type of Algae?!

Thank you! There is a large conch shell on the bottom left corner and it has green algae on it how do I remove that? All my other rocks seem to have some but not nearly as that.

Your yellow tang should eat that if not just pull it off and slowly raise your magnesium to 1600 for a week but do it very slowly only do this if the green hair algae gets out of control

The thing is it doesn't look like green hair algae I can't seem to see any hair like strings or anything it's just there and it not even slimy

Run your finger crossed it and tell me if it feels slimy or if it feels encrusted if so try to scrape it off with a fingernail if it won't come off with a fingernail it very well could be green coralline algae if it comes off with a fingernail and feels a little bit slimy then if you are dosing with phytoplankton that is what it is it's phytoplankton

Nope it's not slimy at all, and no I do not dose phytoplankton (yet)

Not at all.. tried scrubbing with a toothbrush before a little would rub off but that's it
