What will be the next cool powerhead innovation?

I was thinking this morning about all the cool new innovations in reefing. I've only been in the hobby for about 10 years, but in that time we've seen things like alk monitors (which people back then said would never be a thing) come to the hobby. We've got ICP testing and crazy awesome LED fixtures. The most recent major innovation that I can think of in powerheads was the gyre pumps with their crossflow design, but that's been a few years. What do you think might come next in the area of flow?
 
A powerhead that also incorporates some or all of these functions:

* a built-in temperature probe

* an on/off aeration system (super fine micro bubbles)

* some kind of "inlet port" where dosing, food, topoff-water can be injected through it

The ability to sense when something gets too close and adjust accordingly. I'm thinking mostly vortech versus anemone. Commercial covers just don't work very well and my home made screen (that does work well) is an aesthetic monstrosity.
 
A Wet dry side like the vortechs with the motor and cable on the outside of the tank but its a gyre.
That would be amazing! No clue how that would be possible, but someone please do this!!

Idea 1:
Miniaturized Dyson bladeless fan tech. Just a motor in the base with the top dispersing the flow. Create a generic modular small motor base (Could be on the exterior with MP tech). For "gyre" you would put one base on each side of the tank and connect with a "gyre" head (available in standard tank widths). For spot flow you would use 1 motor base with a round head.

Idea 2: Instead of the motor on the outside with magnetic coupling, make a small motor (like NERO) and use inductive coupling (like cell phone charging) to send the power to the motor.

Right now the flow rate of many powerhead pumps can be controlled through WIFI/automation and also put on a schedule. I would also like to see direction of flow (e.g., up, down, left, right) also be automated.

Ooo! That's a great idea!! Should be doable too!
