What would you add to this tank?

You could have a onespot fox in a 75, they stay smaller than the regular foxface. You could get away with a small tomini or kole in a 75 as well.

But beware the tangs and fox will increase your nitrates significantly, as bigger fish make bigger poop. I've found this with my tank.

Yeah, he will likely eat them. My hawk isn't that big, maybe 2-3", not full grown, and my cleaner shrimp was a large one, like 2-3" and he still managed to eat him. My hawk loves ghost shrimp I feed him occasionally in my FOWLR, and even though he's relatively slow swimming in the tank without his swim bladder, he manages to catch the ghost shrimp easily, faster than my slow puffer.

That’s why I don’t have any cool shrimp because I didn’t want to buy a 50 dollar snack for my hawk

I would say go for urchins, snails, stars, hermits for your tank then with the hawk. He's not going to eat those I don't think.

Yeah, just get a one spot fox which stays smaller and get it really small, like 1-2". They are really avid swimmers though. They do grow fast. Mine has grown a couple inches in less than a year. And you'll need to feed nori daily to keep them fat and happy. They'll eat frozen mysis too, but mainly eat nori and require it to stay healthy. They're extremely peaceful and hang out with tangs. Be careful when handling, as they do have venomous spines. It'll be like a bee sting. I've handled mine with my bear hands (not recommended) and have never been stung, but it's a risk.

Yep, they will peck at rocks and stuff. They'll camo up when they get stressed. But when they're happy they're a bright yellow. Love it. They are very active and open swimmers. Mine will sleep against my corals at night.

So I have two occ clowns and they never hosted either of my anemones (bubble or purple long tentacle nems). They have hosted my goniopora. I'm not sure what type clowns would like, and I've read sometimes clowns just won't host nems. But I still like my nems regardless. They will respond when target fed too.

Sounds good. I’m looking into some more corals a can get. Specifically some SPS and acans. All of my corals are green and id love to mix It up

I had the same experience, green is very common. It’s harder to find reds, oranges, yellows, and they’re usually more expensive.

Yeah, that’s hard too. My FOWLR for some reason has so many red/orange. It’s ok, as long as you like what you have.

Yeah, it’s crazy how quickly some of them grow. Although, some of my fish grow slowly. I guess it just depends on the type of fish. You could also look into a mandarin goby if you have copepods. And even if you don’t have copepods, you could do the Paul b method which is what I do to feed my mandarin live baby brine shrimp.

I just use Paul b’s design for a feeder with live baby brine that I hatch daily and put in the feeder daily. My mandarin eats that and actually also eats frozen brine too, but that doesn’t have enough nutrition even with selcon, so I also feed him the baby brine in the feeder, because freshly hatched baby brine are extremely nutritious because they still have their egg sac which has a lot of protein for the fish. Just look up Paul b mandarin feeder. It’s super easy to make. My mandarin learned to eat from it in a few days.
