What You Ordered vs What You Received

Ive always wondered if aquasd corals were accurately represented. Thank you for this post.

I would say the representation to the eye of a camera is fairly accurate. But to the naked eye is a greater difference. Your coral will probably never look like the one in the pictures. But under the right lighting they'll look similar. I'll still buy from aqua SD as I can work to replicate similar coloring under my "viewing" led profiles. Their coral is healthy and has some very unique colorations.

I have no idea what's going on! I've emailed Adam a few times, haven't heard back, but tracking has been updated to a Friday delivery despite being shipped overnight express on wed. I'm stressing and confused!

EDIT: just called FedEx. There was a weather delay in Memphis and package wasn't able to get out. Delivery tomorrow. I hope the coral survives

This is unbearable! If they were anything other than battlecorals I would worry... Hopefully they have a battlebrush in there to keep them safe

Was ordering some amphipods from aquarium depot earlier this year and picked up a couple of their zoas because they were very cheap. When they got here I was pretty ticked because they were NOTHING like the picture. One of the zoas was not even attached to the frag. I was able to get the zoa attached to a rock and now that zoa covers about 3 inches of rock. The other zoa has taken over a spot about 6 inches across. Now I feel like I got a steal.

I'll have to see what they're like after they settle in a little longer. The one with the bright green tips is really, really bright, easily the biggest eye catcher in my tank. Even with my kessil at the whitest setting. There is one that has orange and light purple/tan tips, which is interesting. I'm gonna try to get top down pictures tomorrow.

You must have yet to order from Adam at battlecorals yet then. His photos are as true to life as I've seen. I'm guessing he has a better camera and lighting than I do, but you can still see how close they are.

Order arrived and temp is normalizing right now, but it does NOT look good seems these corals have been the victim of high temps and travel delays. I hate to see such beautiful Coral perish.
On the plus, Adam has responded immediately and will replace the coral. In a bad situation he's the consummate professional. I feel awful for Adam and the coral. What a bummer!!! Here you can see the water in the Bonsai bag has browned

They have been acclimated and put in. These were taken less than an he being in the tank.
