Wondering if you had a max when it came to how many inches of fish per gallon in your tanks? Everyone seems to have something different and was wondering if you went by anything like that?

I do not, the fish in the tank are mainly smaller fish as of right now and I plan to upgrade to a larger tank within the next 18-24 months. I would suggest adding as many fish as your tank can handle. I struggle maintaining high enough nutrients to keep them measurable. That being said I've increased feeding and bioload which has made the corals look MUCH better. I have a good amount of live rock, live sand, and marinepure biomedia that maintain a large bacterial population.

If you keep friendly fish, I would not see any reason to adhere to 1"/Gallon

Okay here is my updated list...inow have 9 Wrasses in my tank....no other type of fish....it is a innovative Marine SR 80....so 80 gallons:

Red Coris Wrasse
Yellow Coris Wrasse
Melegris Leopard Wrasse x 2
Blue Star Leopard Wrasse
Moyers Leopard Wrasse
Ornate Leopard Wrasse
Black Leopard Wrasse
Potters Leopard Wrasse

No plans to add any other fish....you know how it is in this hobby....at some point you have to just stop and sit back and enjoy your piece of the reef.....

LOL.....yea I have FINALLY learned to stay out of fish stores, and too just chill and enjoy my tank!! I finally looked at it, and realized I didn't need to add another Angelfish or Tang to replace the ones I lost, and to just be happy with my 9 Wrasses, that are happy and healthy! [emoji16]

Currently im light m on the fish stocking. 2 chromis damsels, sixline, lubbocks.
Still on the wish list for my 75g. Female african leopare wrasse, radiant wrasse, flameback angel, yelloweye or tomini or squaretail bristletooth tang, orange spot goby, purple firefish, a couple redheaded gobies.

My tank is a standard 180g 72"x 24"x 24"

2x azure damsels
1 x diamond goby
1 x fame angel
1 x male lyretail anthias
2 x female lyretail anthias
1 x female red scooter blenny

I would like to eventually add 2-3 wrasse as I love them and my tank won't seem complete without a least a couple. I am nervous about adding anymore fish though as my tank is so peaceful. I have had the pair of azure damsels and the blue lipped bristle tooth for 6 years. The damsels spawn about every 2-3 weeks and when I transferred them to new tank back in February they never skipped a beat. I think damsels are a very under rated fish. They are colorful, hardy, and inexpensive.
