What's the best ALGAE SCRAPER to use?

the blades dull quickly, it can easily pick up sand, and the little "wheels" can scratch the glass. The Tunze scrapper only touches the glass on the thin blade. MUCH less chance of scratching. I haven't changed the blade in the year I have had it!

You're suppose to change the blades on them?! I've had one for over two years. Hasn't been dry since the day I got it, and still works like a champ. I'll never go back to a pad style magnet.

Many years in the hobby and I think I have tried them all. ( piranha, Hammerhead, Mag float, Flipper, Vertex)
By far, the best one is my tunze care strong followed by the hammerhead. Warning is Magnets are Very strong.

That's great. Despite mine and all other responses, the Flipper is a great magnet. Just seems the blades get dull quickly and the excitement of using them diminishes thereafter
