Well as the title suggests, what's the smallest fish you've bought been? Both in full grown size and age of the fish??
I'll kick things of with the smallest fish I've bought
The smallest full sized fish I own is a little yellow banded possum wrasse. The little guy is a shy one and likes to come out into the open when he thinks no one is looking but generally hovers around the rocks if you get close.
Now the smallest (youngest) fish I've ever bought has to be my most recent addition! I had him sort of specially ordered (I know someone who works at the collector and told him he had to send some down to my lfs for me to buy!). This little guy is my new Copperband Butterflyfish! We all know how big these guys get over the years but this little one is only the size of your thumbnail! Absolutely tiny
Not only is he the smallest I've ever come across but he's also one of the nicest and healthiest specimens of fish, not just coppebands, I've come across! With gorgeous full and strong colouration to match!
He spends his days cruising the tank and picking at the rocks as he's still a good two-four weeks awar from being big enough to eat prepared foods! He acts like he owns the tank already and isn't scared or timid at all, swimming right up to the glass and not darting away during the feeding frenzy of the other fish! All-in-all one heck of a happy healthy fish Enough talking here's some pics!
