I bought a Royal Gramma as my first fish almost 3 1/2 years ago. He was a little less than 3/4" then and is pushing 3" now.

My smallest adult fish has to be my pink Clown Goby that has my nano tank to himself. He's less than an inch long after 2 years in there.

Clown goby

It is said female clown goby can damage tissue of SPS, I gave this one a chance, I have not seen negative effect...maybe it's male...

Fun to see hopping from SPS to SPS and they are TINY

Mine sleeps in a little house from the fingers of a spongode colony.. Then hops around all day on my favorite coral (blue stag) all day.

Sorry to get all girly, but AHHHHH these babies are adorable! My smallest was a clown goby, but I keep seeing these tiny maybe 1/4" clowns at the LFS and keep thinking I need to get one for the nano, but I worry because they are SO tiny lol.

All the boys were saying "SQUEE!" as well.....
Why do think I started the thread :p the adorableness of baby and tiny fish is nearly as good as kittens :D lol
I'm squeeing my pants at the moment! Every time I see my little copperband too!! lol

Green banded goby, one I lost to jumping in the days before I learned every tank with fish needs a lid. I don't think they are particularly jump-prone, but they do get hyper and hop around on the glass at times, so perhaps this one got a little too enthusiastic. I have 2 of them now, and they are cute and fun to watch, especially when they interact, but they are nowhere near as bold and curious as my yellow clown goby; that guy has no idea he is tiny and stays out all the time with the "big fish" (not really that big, a Midas blenny and sunburst anthias are the largest). I like having the green banded gobies, but much prefer the yellow clown goby's personality.

I got a orchid dottyback that was the size of my pinky nail. Did amazing till she scratched her left gill really bad on a rock... she was my favorite fish
