Eta @davocean : just out of curiousity, how long was it in the nem for? And what other symptoms of being eaten were there, besides tattered fins?

Sorry late reply, just saw this.

It was probably inside the anemone for 10-15 minutes, luckily the LFS was close by.
The clown, a clarki, was very visibly disoriented and swimming jacked up, and not just fins tattered, but it's whole body looked ragged.
I wasn't sure it was going to make it, but it bounced back just fine after a couple days, both clarkis paired up, and took great care of that anemone.
