Most of us have at least 1 LFS we trust... I happen to have 3 mediocre stores withing 20mins driving from me...
But I Just took a drive with a co-member of the salt cult and found this gem about 40 miles south of me in Connecticut. I'm impressed. Wowzers. At least for my region, I havent found better yet.

Curious to see some of those over-the-top LFS's!!! So hard to find the ones who still give a heck about their maintenance and husbandry!

Share yours!

This was just the stocking for sale tanks. He had 7 DT's. And the freshwater side, if u can believe it, was bigger than the salt side... by far.

Check out his all-Hawaiin Fowlr. I looooove the scape! And that marine betta... the tri-color cleaner Warasse, and that fatty Naso... omg!!!

Blue Fish Aquarium in Grand Rapids, MI. It is by far one of the best operations I have seen in Michigan. Their freshwater is about 4x larger than the saltwater section. They have at least 20 different systems going, including all of their livestock holding tanks.

They have been extremely helpful and are always changing things around!

Not very local to me, but I like Purereef. Each time I go see my father-in-law in Atlanta, I visit this store. A beautiful place with great looking tanks, and with very friendly people.

Purereef is actually 20 minutes from me. The store is very nice for sure. Can’t say the same for the prices. But I still shop there from time to time just because they helped the local reefer community so much by hosting events.

My favorite is Fishy Business Aquatics. They have a small store in Ft Myers, FL and also do an online store that is a sponsor here. But I mostly go to the store because the owner is a friend and we shoot the breeze for an hour and go out for a beer or two after he closes the store!!!

Elmer’s Aquariums in Monroeville, PA. Used to be Saltwater Sanctuary in Canonsburg, PA, but they closed shop for a couple years. Hoping they reopen soon. Was told they are looking to build soon and hopefully reopen within the next year. Keeping fingers crossed [emoji3] Meanwhile, Elmer’s is pretty solid [emoji106]

Living Reef Orlando. Absolutely uncontested.

I've seen some vids from a woman who works there that's in a fb reef group I'm in. That place looks astounding.
