Build a new stand for my 65 g,without the mistakes I made on my current stand and to build myself a new 30 g frag tank.The sump I already have and the lights.Finnish my LEDs.

Specs on the proposed frag tank? Acrylic, footprint?

You making your own leds from scratch? I have the bits to do a 5’ long 500w COB, 4 channel array but just need the time to do it.

Setting up a reef system with a 250 gal display tank (steel stand), 40 gal breeder, 30 gal frag tank (steel stand) along with a 80 ish gal seamless sump. Tank is being built right now.

Hello all! I’m really excited about my new project. I’m about to set up an IM 40 with a custom built white stand! I love the way the white stand looks against the blues of the tank. I plan to have my new build set up in September or October, once I gather all of my equipment. In the meantime, I’ve been checking in at this awesome place, learning from the experts. I will definitely post some pics once I get going. Happy reefing everyone!

Wow, great work @Cherie cook! I moved two blocks and lost 4 tangs, a foxface, & 5 other fish. It was terrible. The coral and inverts were fine. The LFS who moved the tank and fish said they’d never seen it happen before & couldn’t explain it. It was rough. I couldn’t look at the tank for a week. Now I am on month 3 with the “same” fish. They’re all healthy, but it’s still hard to believe I lost the fish I had literally grown for 2 years.
long story short, hope for the best, but know that you’re moving saltwater fish and corals. Chances are, everything doesn’t arrive alive. But you never know!

Tank size 90 cm x40 cm x 40 cm made out of 6mm glass with 9 39 watt ATI bulbs.Skimmer bubble Margus 3.5 and Jebao DCP 6500 as return pump and 2 SW 8 wave makers. My LED units are built totally from scratch based on 10 watt cree leds and bridgelux leds a mix of royal blues and 10k whites and 2 UV leds on each unit 2 reds ,1 green 1 cyne,2 yellows coming in total to 240 watts each unit.still working on the controller design.
