My Zoa Colony I was referring too, haven't performed the Iodine Dip yet. Is it savable?

These are defintly savable, had a colony way worse than this and they got back. What i would do is, go over them with a turkey baster to get some of the dirt away on them.
One polyp i see zoa pox, keep an eye out on that. I had the same, and i could get some of the white big dots off them by scraping. And then dipping in Coral RX.

this is after 15min iodine dip, some Polyps are opening but the other to me look melted and goners...I got some flatworm exit and will be treating the entire tank don't want my other Zoas to succumb to this. Not sure it's its Zoa Pox? When dipping I didn't find any Nudibranchs or Zoa spiders?

How are your zoas doing @CoralReefer1019? I'd say since my original post 80% of my polyps have opened back up and are coloring up nicely. And yours looked a lot better than mine. Definitely never count a coral out!

So i recently had a problem with hair algae in my 10gal. This was due to neglect on my part due to some personal issues I was having at the time. The hair algae took over my tank and I tried NOPOX to no avail, more frequent water changes to no avail, and unfortunately I lost on of my most prized zoa patches. Once I got my 30gal up and running I took the other zoas out, scrubbed the affected areas with a toothbrush and then dipped in peroxide and water, and transferred to my 30gal. This was about 1 week ago and I have yet to see it rear its ugly head again. The zoas look awesome and happy!

Zoas look better I did lose some, but I guess lesson learned. Have to dip zoa corals even better now and examine everything before putting into tank. I am treating my entire tank with flatworm exit to wipe out nudibranches not taking any chances my other zoas look good knock on wood.
