I have a bio cube 29 gallon saltwater tank, I have established coral growing on the live rock but not enough water movement, i was looking at jebao wave maker but I’m new to salt water tanks and don’t know personally.

Get an ow-25. They pump alot of water and are small.
You can turn it down.
You cant turn a lower powered pump up.
Here is 10 months usage of mine before they were cleaned and retired to backup.

I will not use Jebao because they hide out in China, steal US and EU patents and harm real companies that actually innovate for this hobby. Do not confuse this with legit companies that manufacture in China, which are totally different than the patent-stealing ones. Most people do not know that this is what Jebao is... and some totally know and do not care about the damage that they do to legit companies since they get cheap pumps.

If this bothers you, then look at Tunze pumps. 6040 or 6055 would be good. Their smaller pumps are more money than a knock-off IP stealing pump, but they also will last a decade, so you end up paying less in the long term. There are many others that make small pumps that are reliable and also good citizens in the world.

On a super-duper budget, this will get the job done for 6 months, or so. You can turn them on/off a few times a day, but not much more than that. You can use it as a powerhead or also use it with the flow adapter... which moves a lot of water.

I have the Jebao SW-2 for a biocube 32. I like the adjustments for the propeller speeds. You can leave it on continuous at any speed or have it with multiple wave patterns. I would recommend it but as the previous post stated about the companies practices then that would be your decision.

Yea I dont run them anymore either because of said reason.
I run all tunze equipment and you can get a used tunze for a decent price.
I replaced the 2 said jeabos with 2 used 6015's for super cheap.
Super happy with the change.
Also their are alot of companies that run rebranded jeabo's so if it is an issue for you make sure you know what you are buying.

Not I fan of jebao equipment they just don’t last. You may get one that lasts 3 years or you may get one that lasts 3 months. I am also not a fan of budget or cheap equipment. Reason you will be replacing it when you’re not happy with it and you could have put that money to a well made yet more expensive piece of equipment. I run vortechs which are the complete opposite of Jebao. I would find a well made brand in between the two if your on a budget. Just my 2 cents having gone the Jebao route when I started. I’ll never by one again.

If dont want to go Jebao - Hydor Nano with a wifi plug for randomizing flow. Little more expensive but will last longer. Of the wifi plugs I have, the wyze is my favorite right now. Their software is stable and the UI is clean. I use this combo in my 29 Biocube Coral QT.

at the risk of going against popular opinion, IME Jebao pumps are throw away pumps. They don't last. I went through quite a few rather quickly and will not be buying them again. I'd suggest going with a good used WaveMaker over a cheap new one

I am not sure about the wave maker in fact, I am looking for one for my Nano 20 gallon.
I haven’t read about the Jebao company specifically, but am interested to do so and am totally on board with the concept that we should all be decent world citizens. Greedy, Greedy, Greedy...always about $$$ Never about what really matters.

Hi there, I am currently looking for a wave maker myself for my Nano 20 gallon. I am transitioning this tank from a coral and fish tank to reef only. I think I’m gonna go for the ECOTech MP10. It is a bit pricey, but the benefits seem pretty sweet. This pump is small, quiet, controllable, multi-functions, etc. I had to wait a couple paydays to get one, but I’m excited. The pump I have right now is a dog.

Check out the review in this link. Worth the read. Best of luck. JL https://reefs.com/magazine/product-review-vortech-mp10-propeller-pump/

They're insanely priced. Get yourself a jebao slw-10. Save yourself $200+.
