Which anemone will be the best for me ??

Honestly, just get a BTA. The trick though is to put the BTA on an island rock by itself on the sandbed. A BTA will not traverse over sand so it will move around the rock until it finds a spot it likes. The only way it leaves the island is by going suicidal and completely letting go... which is a very rare occurrence. It will only happen if they are desperate.

In my opinion if you can grow lps in your tank sebaes and carpets will be fine along with ritteri since itll move to higher areas of the tank

For Malu, you need a sand bed. Bright but not too bright light, similar to BTA, low to medium flow.

how about the h malu?

Like Orion mentioned, malu is very underrated, they have some of the best color, smaller than most host anemone's, stay at sand and lay low, not so light needy, and accepted by occs and percs very often even though they are not natural to them, much more so than BTA's.

If you were to do an island just for a nem, I'd go magnifica over bta, those are natural to occs and percs, others, and do not wander like BTA.

I have seen many posts over the years of BTA detaching and floating, it's not a rare occurance IMO

because I’m seeing some pictures that they look white with purple ish tips saying that they’re bleached and then some that are like tan with the purple tips

H malu is naturally/normally tan they can be other colors but typicallllly white ones are bleached theres a neon pink one as my profile picture

Hi everyone I have a 75 gallon reef tank and I just wanted to know which anemone would be the least likely to move around and sting my coral.

I started with one Bubbletip and now have 5. I have them settled on an island and they only move around it. I love these guys.

Rock flowers move the least. If u get BTAs, put them on an island surrounded by sand.

No host anemone's are white naturally.
Malu's come in a number of colors, purple, pink, yellow, green,beige.

My RBTA hasn't moved and stayed exactly where I wanted him to be. He's massive and beautiful but has killed or killed parts of nearly every coral on that 1/3 of the tank (which is a 4' 100g). Next tank, no nem.

This used to be a more truthful statement, but the use of cipro treatment has made big changes in this.
IMO the only hard part of keeping magnifica/ritteri is getting a healthy one, or going through the iniyial cipro treatment, after that given a high perch and good light, stable params, they are not that difficult to keep, and more important, stay put.
They are also natural hosts for occs and percs, hosting usually happens immediately

in my humble experience LTA's always get big and sting neighboring corals more than they move and sting corals

I think requirement for all the host anemone species are well within the ability of an above average Reefer who research and learn about the species before hand.
The only species that I am not confident in my ability to keep them stationary is the BTA so I don’t keep BTA anymore. I do have a high flow and high light tank so it is not really suitable for BTA.
