OK, I'm pleased. The Live sand is actually wet, just well sealed.
This is what the package says the Dry Samoa Pink sand will look like:

So, neither are anywhere near as pink as the retail pictures would lead you to believe.
Both seem to have a dun, pale tan base color, with very occasional pink flakes. The dry seems to have more pink flakes that the Bio Active Live. I should have water in my tank within a couple weeks, and I'll make sure to get some good shots of the sand in the tank, under aquarium lighting.
I'm building a WB Marine 70.3, with around 2 inches of sand in the display, 60# of BioActive Live Somoa Pink, 10# dry Somoa Pink, and 10# of Florida Keys Crushed Coral.

Live is bigger than dry? Strange, it should be the opposite
In Italy i can only find the live, not the dry
