Have you reached out to Sicce?
I’m wondering if you got a defective one or is that’s how they are made?

I own the sicce return pump but the 7.0 and I would stay away. I had it hooked to WiFi for a while but had to remove it. If the power went out then came back on, the pump wouldn't restart unless I went into the app and told it to restart. If I'm not home and I didn't know the power went out the pump would be off until I discovered it.
Now that it isn't hooked to WiFi it restarts every 9 out of 10 times the power goes out which still is not good. It is not apex ready either so if you have apex the only thing you can do is monitor the flow to see if it's running. I have an abyzz on order to take it's place.

+1 here, I'm torn between running my Closed loop on an SDC or a Vectra, I'd love to throw a Red Dragon or Abyzz in there but either one is a $2000+ endeavor for me so not really an option right now.
