There's a nice shop in New Canaan, CT called Life Aquatic. A little pricey but he has great livestock and is great to deal with. I got a mated pair of clowns with a long tentacle anemone and brought them back to PA. They are mating now and she is full of eggs.

Yeah I go to pet zone in Pittston every now and then. I was there this weekend and he broke the news that he had a montipora eating nudibranch outbreak in his frag tank right after I bought two frags from him. Guess I know where I got them now. Ugh.
North east Ohio. Couple LFS one about 25 minutes away and it’s beautiful and clean. Tons of fish and corals and rock. Another is an hour away. It really big and has been around for a while. Lots of fish not much coral tons of rock.

Well, I have some nice ones like House of Fins and Greenwich Aquaria in CT, Gills and Jawz real close in Westchester, Reef Shoppe in the Bronx and for completeness, quite a few chain stores all within a 20 minute drive.
An additional 10-15 minutes further out there is Manhattan Aquarium and Pacific Aquarium in Manhattan, Pop Corals and BlueReef in Brooklyn, Fish Town and New York Reef Aquatic in Queens.
A little further there are quite a few more in Northern New Jersey and Long Island as well as further out in Connecticut. These are just quick off my head, and I know I am forgetting a lot. Not recommending all of these, just noting there are a lot to choose from.

I used to run a lfs in Dallas called Exotic Fish World. We were "cutting Edge" in the mid 80s. Had a blast. Every profession and income level came and shared their interest together. Was right next to The Million Dollar Saloon too.
