yea i did that bottle was fulled to the brim... i was so stupid... lucky i did not get sick. i emptied it cause the skimmer started to over flow. so that's why its like a pee color. thank got it was not that black stuff!

I'm gonna join in on the whining on wen. cause I added a new hang on overflow last night and came home to one of the drain tubes that goes into the sump had piped out of the sock filter filling my living room with water!! Fun fun. Like this topic. O and cleaning the glass all the way down by the sand bed.

What's on your sand and what do you hate about it? The more problems we stack the more we can fix as a whole!!

I just siphon it to remove waste. There is not really anything on it, just in it. The reason I hate it is because it is hard to get to and my arm gets tired. Plus more than once I have pulled the hose from the waste container and had to mop up the mess.

+1 to gift card scraper. I keep Walmart gift cards just for this purpose. It really works well in my nano cube because of the curved corners. (Hmm, if there are curved can they still be called corners?)
