Oh wow that's a very serious bacterial infection, IMO.

You'll need metroplex, furan 2, and kanaplex and to treat for at least ten days.

+1 The three medications listed above will be your best bet.

However, ANY antibiotic will be better than nothing at this point. There are more listed here and also here by Seachem at the bottom. Those can be food soaked or dosed directly into the water (you will want to do the latter.)

And if you can find it, an acriflavine bath (ex. Ruby Reef Rally) might help as well: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/acriflavine.282887/

Thx! How long should i threat them for? Also, can they be mixed with Prazi? I have 2 more days of it...

Ok, found info on long and if i can rjun it it with Prazi. So, after 10 days let's say it gets better so what i do next? Should i keep them a week for observation?

I wouldn't put him in the DT until he looks fully headed. Also, don't be surprised if that fish requires longer than 10 days worth of antibiotic treatment. He looks to be in pretty bad shape, so it must be an aggressive infection.

Any idea what can cause that bad infection? Also, should i be worry about other fish in QT?

Another thing what bothers me is: Should i threat new fish with antibiotics right away? I am so glad it al happened in QT! Thx again for being helpful!

Odds are he came in with it, but his immune system was fighting it off which is why you never saw symptoms. Fighting it off ... but apparently never 100% knocked it out. So then when you dosed copper & prazi (both are immunosuppressants) it tipped things back in the harmful bacteria's favor.

As I'm sure you deduced from my immunosuppressant statement above, all medications are necessary evils. Side effects exist regardless of whether we're talking about medications for humans or animals. So IMO; they should be used only as needed. Unfortunately, the prevalence of Marine Velvet Disease makes the use of copper or CP almost mandatory nowadays; it wasn't like this just a few years ago.

Fish is dead! Should i be worried about other in QT? Looks like there is nothing on it...Would you guys still put those meds just in case? Thank you again for all help

Personally... as aggressive as that infection looks, id rather be safe than sorry. Be sure you have great oxygen exchange in the tank with all of these meds. Bubbler or simply aiming a powerhead at the surface will more than suffice.

Also, I am sorry for your loss. I won't lie though, based on the photo I knew that fish was a goner. It needed treatment days ago.

If i only knew.... That fish was super active and fun to watch! Really mad that all happened. Not sure what i am doing wrong....

Unlikely to spread IF its gram positive. Gram negative would be a completely different story.

It's not the same but I had a fish just jump out of the tank. I guess he was too depressed being in a 10 gallon. :/
