White scales on wrasse

I have just noticed that my green bird wrasse has a weird white area that I don’t see any scales on. What could this be or is this normal? It is very hard to get a good pic of him.

He acts completely normal and eats very good. He is in hyposalinity right now.

Unless that just started recently, that looks normal to me, quite a few species have lighter/whiteish area in lower head jaw area.

Despite bright lighting, I cannot clearly see the fish and upper center body I see what may be a blemish with coloration which is often triggered by stress and even poor diet
What foods are you feeding and Green birds are generally consistent with color. They do show an occasional white bar right behind the gill which would be ok

I am feeding him everything really. Enriched nori, reef frenzy veggie flakes krill brine shrimp other flakes and half clams. Everything is basically soaked in Zoe selcon and garlic power.

The white pinch around the fins on both sides is what you are talking about, right?

If so, that should be okay since it’s symmetrical.

Yeah I’m talking about the whole bleached area on his underbelly it stops like half way.

It also kinda starts on the bottom of his face too.

It has one more little patch exactly the same around the same spot but should I assume it’s nothing

Can you draw a circle around the area of concern? I can't see anything really wrong in that photo...

This whiteish area that looks like it doesn’t have scales and I only see that in the female ones it seems like the males all have consistent green. Also it is unimaginably hard to get a photo of him. But he has the normal white and then there’s another white splotch a little further down the body it’s hard to see but you can see consistent white and then a white scales broken apart from the rest of the white

Here’s it clearer and those dots aren’t on him it’s bubbles. I have had him in hypo for like 6 weeks would that have anything to do with it I have brought it up the last couple days.

I can see some diffuse white patches in this photo. While flukes can create those, the 6 week hypo should have eliminated those - what was your target specific gravity for the hypo?
