White spot on chalice

Here's another top down at feeding time. You can see all the white spots on it.

I stick with what I said earlier. The chalice looks fine and colorful and it's likely new eyes forming. I wouldn't move it or do anything but make sure your parameters are where you want them.

Is it an Avatar chalice? If so, I have the same one. It's in full light under T5s right in the middle bottom of my tank. No shade and it's growing great. It's at least doubled in size since I got it earlier this year.

It is an avatar. I hope it turns out half as nice as yours. I’m trying to keep my hands off and work on parameters. It’s one of my favorites and i hate to see it not do well. I hope it’s just growing and I’m being paranoid.

Doing pretty good I’d say. White spot turned out to be new growth. I’m trying to learn to relax and let things be. Lol it’s hard for me

Chalice looks great. Sometimes it's hard not to panic. If it's not showing tissue recession, I wouldn't worry and enjoy the growth.

White spots are typically NOT how new growth presents itself on chalice. More often philaster or viral infection. I certainly would have freaked out lol.
