White spots on Powder Tang

I dip my corals in Bayer prior to putting them in the tank. A week later I dip them in H2O2. For the inverts, they just go in. 72 days is typically my goal but longer is better.
What brand/ product Bayer and H2O2

Yup, sure will. I am very protective of my DT.

And that's the whole point of QT'ing everything. Protect the "core group" of fish in your DT at all costs. When they are still with you 10, 15, 20 years down the road, you'll understand why it was worth it.

So you'll QT any corals for 72 days before adding to DT?

I do as well. I worked really hard to keep disease out of my display, so I'm not going to jeopardize it over a $1 snail.

So all is going well with my QT Tank and saved most my fish With the copper solution.

One quick question - if you whatever reason I was wrong and instead of Ich, my fish had velvet. Is it the same 76 day cycle until the velvet parasite dies off or should I be taking different actions?

76 days covers both and is my recommendation. 6 weeks velvet alone.
