New plan: I'm going to isolate one rock at a time — when I get the one that's clacking I'll use other methods to drive him out. And in the meanwhile, I'll be able to start transferring the LR to my tank.

Try a freshwater dip. All things will evacuate. Good and bad though. Some have done testing on whether or not it Kills the bacteria, overall consensus is no, bacteria live, but other ickys not so much. Kills them right away.

I've thought about it, but I really don't want the little crabs and brittle stars and other friends to evac. The process of elimination will be slow, but worth it, I think.
