I started running mine 24-7 and noticed the chaeto growing much faster.. Being a new setup I also have it in my head that I want the fuge working overtime to prevent any possible Dino issues in the display tank. Moreover, I overfeed and still don't have an issue with nutrient and my dry rock is still white long after cycling.
