It would appear so -- to give them the benefit of the doubt, they may have uploaded the wrong photograph. Someone that's not astute with fish could have made the error in good faith. They often house both in the facility-- sometimes both are available concurrently. Right now juvenile yellow belly regals are "in season".So not only did they mess up the belly color, but also the region?
Except for the huge price difference, yellow or gray belly. I like them both, but my wallet would go with the gray belly.
You must have got the last one. Don’t see any Regals.
Good deals can be found on yellow bellies as well. I just picked up a nice one from ReefBeauties for $189 shipped. Ate mysis from day one.
It was a couple weeks ago. They had some nice ones. NYA has them pretty cheap a lot of times as well.
Yep, I got mine a year or so ago for $157 from saltwaterfish.com. He ate pellets from day 1. Can't understand DD's crazy prices.

What size and region?
Neither vendor have one right now
All about the warranty. Nowhere else that I know of will give you 2 weeks on a regal angel.
I mostly agree but I can tell Sumatran from the other yellow belly. IME slightly lighter colored blue margins (almost neon) and the stripes are more "rounded". Slightly different appearance I cannot fully describe without pics.Mine is 4”. Was listed as Red Sea but I’m not convinced there is any difference at all between the yellowbellies from any region outside of just individual variation. I have a Maldives one and a Red Sea. Both are indistinguishable aside from the difference in their size. Just speculating, but I think a lot of wholesalers list any YB regal as Red Sea because Red Sea fish seem to sell for a premium.
The advantage LA/DD has over most is free shipping. If a fish dies most give you a credit of fish only not shipping. If a $99 fish dies with LA/DD you get $99 back into your account. Plus most wait and buy fish from LA/DD with 15 and 20% discounts. The great part is we have many choices to buy what we want from wherever we want.
