Yeah honestly your rock looks like that because it’s live rock. Live rock is never going to be bleach white for long once light hits it. It will typically go from white, to tan, to brown, develop green patches, then start developing a whole array of purples, reds, yellows, greens, and grays over the coming years. Color on rocks isn’t a bad thing. Btw, nothing you do with your parameters will allow you to comfortably bypass the new tank algae phases. If you put too much effort into algae control early on you will be stunting bacterial growth, sponge growth, pod development, and worst of all stunt coral growth. Just maintain a regular water change schedule, use Rodi, lots of flow and keep nutrient levels in an acceptable range. You’ll become best friends with urchins and turbo snails early on. After a year or so if you maintain those efforts you’ll be free of any nuisance algae
