Why don't people run higher temps? (another rant lol)

With all the pumps and reactors I have, my heaters never turn on. Even when my house is 64 degrees in winter, my tank is still 81 degrees. My fans turn on at 81.5 and off at 80.5. The only thing I notice is that pH goes down slightly with a rise in temp. Other than that, I see no difference between 78 and 81.

I run 84 with no problem

My thinking on the mater is that higher temps hold less dissolved O2 which in turn results in lower PH. Lower temps equals higher O2, increasing PH.
This is not true. O2 does not affect pH. CO2 does. Lower O2 does not mean higher CO2.

I'm diggin it lol That might change though.
