I can sure add it if people will use it! :)

I am still a newbie here but are mushrooms considered anemone or soft coral or both? I have seen other sites where the group them with anemone, and some they are seperated into there own group.

Ewww! Yucky softies! lol. I should take a pic of the awesome yuma I got today. :)

sprinklerdudes- mushrooms are a soft coral, not an anemone.

I love softies! I have kept mixed reefs for 10 years. I like the movement - and color of some soft corals. Here are a few that I have now and some I had in the past (before my tank went down in a 2 week long power outage from a hurricane).

On the bottom leather? If so, the skin is pinkish and the polyps are actually lime green. I do supplement with actinics. It is a very plentiful coral here, because of reefers that have fragged it over the years. However, when one of our local reefers sent one to GARF in a trade, they said they had never seen one like it before. That was a number of years ago now though. Still don't really know what it is. If anyone knows what it is, I would like to know. We just call it the green polyped leather locally.

Those are stunning Gary.
IMO, there should definitely be a soft coral forum. Although most softies are considered beginner corals, they can still be stunningly beautiful. My 75g is a mixed reef, mainly LPS and softies, and it gets many more comments from visitors than my 135g SPS dominated tank.
Fragging and caring for softies is not hard, but it is different from what you do with SPS and LPS.
FWIW, here are a couple of mine

The first one too.

I'm not much of a softy fan, but I like that last pic a LOT.
