TGISL, Thank God It's Super Late, :p
Maybe when I get home from work, as of now I'm working on drawing a few pools to get my summer months booked up till July.

Um [emoji52] mmmmm-k!

I saw a photo of a mandarin dragonet online about a year ago having never seen one before and when I found out you could actually keep one as a pet I had to have one! Now I have a pair in my 120g both trained onto eating pellet food! And My new found love of corals means I'm totally hooked!! It's truly an amazing hobby!

They look great, I didn't know they would take dry food, just pods, and your tank looks young.
Best of luck, now I'm getting a pair. Where did you purchase?

I'm going to unsubscribe myself from my own successful thread
As Genghis Khan once said, "A wise chieftain does not start a thread to which he does not want to post an answer" or something like that. Something might have been lost in the translation. ;)

Thanks, I love them! Tank is relatively young. I bought the male first and "trained" him onto pellets in about 6 weeks. Might sound nuts but I used a mirror and built up my rock work so there was a corner where I could target feed him pods and I slowly started swapping pods for sinking pellets. As soon as he seen his reflection he would eat anything I put in his corner, maybe the fear of competition for food from another male? I don't know but it worked! Then I think the female was a case of monkey see monkey do as it didn't take her long to follow him into the corner and copy him eating the pellets. Now as soon as I turn the flow off they both go up to the piece of plate live rock you can see them on in the pic and wait for the pellets to drop onto it!

I had them ordered for me by my LFS here in Inverness, Scotland most places over here don't keep them in stock due to their difficult feeding habits. Probably a bit far for you to go for them!

LOL, Yes it did indeed ;)

“With Heaven’s aid I have conquered for you a huge empire.
But my life was too short to achieve the conquest of the world.
That task is left for you.”

With other words..... my time in this hobby comes to a end long before I can do it all, for the youngsters under us to learn and to finish.

In order for us to build new, we have to have foundation of old, meaning in order for us youngsters to continue to build up the hobby we need the insight and stories of the past as not to make the same mistakes and to have a foundation on which to build up the future

.............and sometimes it's better to build a new foundation first to succeed in the future.

All a man can reply on that is.......... If you're afraid, don't do it, but if you're doing it, don't be afraid!

Though to be honest, I love that quote and Ima use it
"If you're afraid don't do it, if you're doing it, don't be afraid"-an old wise diesel tanker

 that would be a first

As they say "there is a first time for everything" maybe you can't do everything before you leave the hobby, but I can help you with those few things like being afraid[emoji6][emoji8]

"Sometimes you got to go back… to actually move forward, and I don’t mean going back to reminisce, or chase ghosts, I mean going back to see where you came from, where you've been, how you got here and see where you’re going.
I know there are those that say you can’t go back.
Yes, you can.
You just have to look in the right place.”
