"Sometimes you got to go back… to actually move forward, and I don’t mean going back to reminisce, or chase ghosts, I mean going back to see where you came from, where you've been, how you got here and see where you’re going.
I know there are those that say you can’t go back.
Yes, you can.
You just have to look in the right place.”

Well then, it's a good thing we have those people from back then to show us how to go back.......if they would only share their stories....hem hem hem (coughing) not gonna mention any names here @Diesel....hen hem hem (more coughing)

For that there is only one understanding............... the story ain't finished yet!
As in..........there is no value in anything until the story is finished, we all know that.
The fat lady only sings when the game is over ;)

And that's why you are not a fat lady, you are able to give over a story while it's happening

Actually started watching the show tank as soon as it aired on t.v. Went into a fish store that I found not to far from me, went inside and fell in love with the fish and the tank as a tiny ecosystem that almost every thing has a purpose. Got a tank and I don't think I'll ever not have one no matter what size.

When I was in the Air Force a friend of mine in base housing had one, I would go over to his house and just stare at his tank. I found a deal on a 29g biocube and the wife and I were excited. I have learned a lot and because I have learned a lot the hard way the wife isnt into as much as she used to (trying to get her back into it) I deployed to the middle east and told the wife my "I made it home" gift was a bigger tank. Now I have a 90g and loving it...

thank you for your service.

I originally got into this hobby because of a used tank, the only residents in the tank was a large saddle back and a large carpet nem. I thought they were absolutely amazing got my tank and started cycling it while I researched. Needless to say I never got a carpet or a saddle back instead ended up with a maroon and a bta☺ that I was awesome she was a bit aggressive but I figured for 15 yrs old that would be OK. So anyway started with a 65 with all hang on the back filters within 6 month ended up with a drilled 125 and haven't stopped been about 6 yrs running now and no plans to stop.

I started working at a big box pet store and became manager of the pet care department. Since I never had a fish tank and I was educating customers on the care/maintenance of freshwater tanks, I decided to start my own tank. I got bored of a freshwater tank and mentioned to another manager that I was interested in a saltwater tank. He told me not to bother since it was complicated and I wouldn't be successful. I took that as a challenge and started my first tank.

I vote we all drive @Diesel crazy by pretending he doesn't exist until his story is up here. Or we make up stories.

My guess... he got sent to detention and it was in the science teachers room, where she made him scrub through tank for a week. He figured it was fun and lived happily ever after

Tumor was a benign. Definitely a huge relief when the tests came back. Health problems is no joke. I see life differently now, appreciate life way more and spending more time with family. I am glad that all this has happened. This experience has changed me completely in the best way possible. Don't want to get too religious but this is God's plan for me .
Sorry for venting so much
Amen
