Why so many gyres for sale?

I have to say, I love my FX150 on my 125 gallon tall. I had fine sand, and it was a little much for the sand. I have wanted to go bare bottom for a while now, so I just sucked a little sand out each water change.

Like the others, I run mine at 60% and have had no issues in the last 10 months I have been running it. I do use the pulse feature on mine.

I got the new blades and they do make a major difference in flow and noise.

Same for me with my 130 - the new blade design improves the flow, lessens the noise, and is way sturdier.

For reliability, Tunzes cannot be beaten. I have a 6055 that over ten years old and has never failed on me yet.
