My mandarin had this weird growth on her skin, just an enquiry if anyone has same or similar? My last effort was overwhelmed by others saying she needs food.
She is still alive now and the weird growth that appeard, is now has disappeared? I have searched reef2reef but nothing can explain this.

Left hand to mandarin had this bubble (photo), it was like a blister, it appeared for a few days but now it has receded?

Anyone else own a mandarin and seen this?

My aquarium was full of copepods, I only have two clowns and two firefish, loadsa snails and hermits.
I feed Artemis and copepods (live)
I try blood worms but she just pecks at copepods

Bad constipation that managed to clear itself would be my guess.

I have a small copepods breeding station as such, but it's not problem with food.
I keep looking but no-one has answers to why this may happen, it was like a blister, as you can see highlighted in pic

Look at photo and zoom in please, this is what I'm asking... It's like a bubble behind her anus, nothing to do with food, zoom in on photo please, nothing to do with internal organs, unless you think otherwise??

How long have you had the fish?

I'm not looking for anything else as I have researched, I think most and understand.

I Can not find anything in regards to this perculiar situation, my mandarin has a wierd bubble growth?

Photos show left side (weird bubble) right side (normal)

Nothing changed in her behaviour ?

The only time I saw a large blister on a mandarin was after a heater got stuck on and the tank got hot. I seen numerous smaller looking ones with parasite infection (this isn't what is going on here) just because the slime coat can do odd things.

It is a male btw.

How do you know it’s a male?

How can you tell it's male, I can not find anything like this so I am really open minded, thank you

It has a point on its dorsal. As small juvie's it can be hard to tell on the spotted as the point does not get as pronounced as the blue mandy's but as they age it becomes apparent.

Here is a pic of a female:

Another pic...
