Will a blackout hurt corals/anemones and fish?

Yes, but the same old myths keep coming back to haunt us.

The science hasn't changed but there are a whole bunch of new reefers who get led astray by old posts.

The old posts need to be put back where they belong.

Sometimes I wish mods would just delete the old nonsense posts.
 
From what I see in the pictures it looks to be just a little turf algae. Hair algae that hasn't grown in.
Add to your cuc. Remove hermits. Replace with some snails. Hths you
