So your tank is 100 gallons.
Did you use live rock or new dry rock?
Has rock been in the water for a month?
How long have the fish been in the water?
Toss the bacteria in now. They will start to grow. You can add more for a faster cycle. I would also get some Prime. It is good to have in case of an ammonia spike. If your tank is not cycled enough you will get ammonia build up form the fish poo and food
I would just get the small bottle. You have some bacteria now since you had a fish for a month. You dont need it unless you see an ammonia spike. A water change will also work. So will adding more bacteria but this will take longer. Do you know what your ammonia level is? or your nitrite level?
my ammonia has been at zero since my cycle ended and nitrite is at 0.1! I'm currently adding 11 vials of bacteria for now and then another 9 tomorrow when more comes in!Ok you dont need the prime right now but its a good thing to have on hand. Sounds like you have it all under control except the dust storm *-))))))))
Didnt realize you cycled your tank
I'll still definitely pick up the prime just in case and with the prime I just need to follow instructions on the bottle? Or is there something else I'll need to do if there is ammonia? No problem.
Also remove the filter socks when you clean your sandbed or blow off your LR. Again, you want the debris to miss the socks. If you leave the socks in, keep an eye on them and if they start to clog just hank them out and replace them with fresh ones.
