GSP is an alien life form and cannot be killed. More of a concern is having it on your main structure. Separate it from anything else by at least a few inches.

Take it from me, GSP has basically ruined my tank.

Its my first tank and coral so I would not minde.
Same thing I said, now prevents me from buying anything new because it will just be taken over.

These are very forgiving coral and as long as you provide medium water flow and moderate light- they should be ok. Give them a few gentle bursts with a turkey baster to assure there is not sediment on them and add a FEW drops weekly of both iron supplement and iodine which helps with their color and production.
