Will my gsp survive?

Came Home after a 5 day vacation and noticed my aquarium ligth off i think my ligth timer broke. Will my gsp survive?

They’re not indestructible, I’ve killed it before. But I think this particular piece will survive.

GSP is an alien life form and cannot be killed. More of a concern is having it on your main structure. Separate it from anything else by at least a few inches.

Take it from me, GSP has basically ruined my tank.

GSP can grow in a toilet. It's why I love it so much. Yours should be fine, a few days with no light isn't going to kill it.

These are very forgiving coral and as long as you provide medium water flow and moderate light- they should be ok. Give them a few gentle bursts with a turkey baster to assure there is not sediment on them and add a FEW drops weekly of both iron supplement and iodine which helps with their color and production.

My money is on it being fine. I’ve had mine close up to a week with no known reason just to act normal again.

Just closed up even though all my other coral, including my harder ones, looked great.

GSP is pretty much in the same category as Aiptasia and cockroaches. Nothing kills them.
