What type of flow and light do you have it in?
They like pretty high flow and light but they can be a little flexible. As long as the flow is on the high side of medium :)

That sounds kind of confusing….. doesn't it?:p

As long as you it doesn't start to dissolve, he's just ticked off. Should be ok.

Lighting is diy 15000k 40w, growing other corals and gbta nicely.. gbta recovered 90% as it came bleached. Flow is jebao rw8 in tank volume 40g

It is hard to know if it will or not.
Giving it time and not changing placements is best for it now.
Thanks.. keepong fingers crossed... it expands n contracts, does this mean it has chances?

What are your nutrient levels like? At one point I suffered from very low nutrients and my toadstool turned white. I cut back my filtration, nutrients increased, and it slowly regained color.

Any sign of life is a good thing but without the zooanthelle it will have a hard time producing the food it needs.
The thing with a bleached anemone is you can still feed it but a bleached toadstool not so sure.

Some latest closeups.. its not melting.. i can see some extremely tiny spots in it, i dont know wether they are polyps or no.. the lfs from whome i purchased is fooling ne by saying its a non polyping rare yellow toadstool. He said it only expands and contracts.

Toadstools can take several months in some cases to adjust to a new tank environment. What corals are around this piece any other leather corals or LPS corals? There can be warfare from other corals that are around the new coral and and cause the coral to stay closed longer.

How big is the toad? If you have other corals that are happy specially the BBTA is happy, your water is stable more than enough to keep the toad. Just make sure the power head is put beaming at it. I think it will recover. What does it look like now after in your tank for a few days?
