Will my toadstool make it?

Around 4 inches in diameter. Yes gbta is doing well. Can see some tiny white polyps on toad.

Toadstools take time to come out and some never do. I have seen I ton of them over the past 30 years in the hobby.

hmm, did you buy it online? shipping and its condition before being shipped might cause it to take a long time to recover. If it is 4 inches like this then it is a huge toad.....If you see some residue/dirty stuff resting on top of the toad while it is closing up like the picture, I would use a turkey blaster and gently blow those things off....Do that when the light is out.

Well lfs gives home delivery here. And i had been looking for 1 since 6mnths. So when he sent me the list, i bought without thinking. Cant see any dirt on it. Sometimes i see some pods roaming around on it. Flow is good.

Well if u see my first photo, it had no polyps, now can finally see some popping. So shared the photo. Since lfs cheated me and sold me this, as he gave home delivery, i dint see before buying.

Fair. If you look at my photo, that is what this coral should look like. You my friend have a long way to go until this one looks like it should, if it even makes it that far.

That looks more like a Devils Hand Coral (Lobophytum sp.) and not a toadstool (Sarcophyton sp.).
